# Animation Offset

Animation offset allows you to displace or move an animated object while keeping its animation intact.

Imagine you have a character punching a table, but for some reason, the position of the table changes, and you need to reposition the contact point of the fist with the table. This tool lets you reposition it with just a couple of clicks.

When you run this tool, you should be on a keyframe of the animation you want to move.
{% endhint %}
